Ökologisches Weingut Schmitt

The winery was founded over 235 years ago. Since 2007 till 2012 we were certificated by the European organic association and from 2012 we are certificated by Demeter association. Since 2012 we do our wines with the ideology : “Wine just from grapes!” / “Organic without everything.” We produce Naturel wines. That means, the wines are mostly fermented with the skin, are unfiltered and bottled without any adding of sulphur. These wines are aged in Oak barrels and in an Amphore from Georgia.
