Santa Regina is a small firm extending for 8 hectares, 1,5 hectares of vineyards and 430 olive trees included. It’s a vine growing firm in the municipal territory of Siena.
The vineyards were planted in 2004 and the first harvest was made in 2007. We follow the methods of organic farming. Vinification is made in inox tanks in the cellar obtained in the underground of the medioeval tower of the firm. The ageing process starts with 12-24 months in oak barrels of 10 hl built in Austria, and then continues in bottles for the following 6 months. Bottling is made especially using 1,5 l bottles for the best ageing process.
