The winery is situated in Provence, between Avignon and Vaison-la-Romaine. Trapadis has been a family run estate since 1850. Helen Durand, the 4th generation, took over in 1996.
The domain consists of 33 hectares farmed without pesticides or chemical fertilizers to enhance the expression and quality of the terroir. (ECOCERT certified.)
There are 4 main geological soil types: sand silt, red clay, yellow clay and blue clay. Work in the vines is carried out with respect for the soil and the plants.
