The vineyards are situated in the Town of Tagliolo Monferrato, a village of medieval origins perched on one of the many hilltops in the region of Alto Monferrato. The tuff-based soils are perfect for cultivating local Dolcetto grapes, especially one of the more structured strains - Dolcetto di Ovada. Barbera grapes also flourish here, expressing complexity and wealth of perfumes. The vineyards are cultivated with total commitment by the eighty-something-year-old Emilio and Maria Luisa.
