Castello di Bucignano was built in 900 AD. The vine cultivation dates back since Etruscan times, in their memory we also produce wines in terracotta amphorae. The solis is rich in fossils, fertilized with humus and green manure for biodiversity. The harvest is manual in small boxes, the fermentation is spontaneous without adding yeasts, the pressing is soft. Aging takes place in small wooden barrels and terracotta amphorae. Only at bottling we add sulfites in minimum quantities.
