THE VOICES OF NATURAL WINE TOGETHER IN MILAN
Vi.Te. and VinNatur united for the first major event called VINARI: Reunited Natural Winegrowers.
In Milan, more than 150 Italian and foreign winemakers, walk-around tasting and masterclasses
A historic event arrives in Milan that marks the first time two Italian associations unite to organise one event completely dedicated to natural wine. Vi.Na.Ri is the two days conceived and organized by Vi.Te. and VinNatur, open to anyone who loves the world of natural wine, in which all exhibitors agree to respect the same quality and production requirements.
The first edition of the show, scheduled for Sunday 12 and Monday 13 February 2023, will feature more than 150 producers in one large location a few metres away from Linate airport. Studio Novanta will provide the roof under which Italian and foreign winemakers will present their products and their oenological and agronomic philosophy.
Vi.Na.Ri was born at the beginning of August 2020 when a meeting between Angiolino Maule and Gabriele Da Prato, respectively presidents of VinNatur and Vi.Te., took place to lay the foundations for a shared path. “The need to clarify the movement of natural wine was evident – declare the two presidents – and this was possible by joining forces and collaborating to give greater authority to the winemaker and to his message. Hence a joint event, never seen before in Italy, which can convey the desire of the winemakers to tell and explain their land, their vineyards and their wines “.

Food
To accompany all the delicious wine over the two days, there will also be the Italian street food of Trapizzino, born in 2008 from the idea of Stefano Callegari, master pizza maker who today runs 14 points of sale in Turin, Milan, Trieste, New York and obviously Rome, where he first set up shop. The trapizzino is a corner of pizza made with sourdough, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, which after a long leavening period is served stuffed with typical recipes from the Roman, Italian and other traditions. As an alternative, there will also be supplì, the classic Roman street food that since 1874 hides a heart of stringy cheese in a breaded and fried risotto. Both specialties will be available in different flavours, with options also dedicated to vegetarians.
