It is the Margraf Showroom in Gambellara (VI) which has been chosen by the VinNatur Association to host the sixteenth edition of its flagship event, renamed VinNatur Tasting, from 6th to 8th April 2019.
180 producers of natural wine from all over Europe will be at the forefront of this, one of the most important events in the natural wine calendar. An event created to defend the culture of natural wine, with tastings for who wants to increase their knowledge of this sector but also for those who wish to start to becoming acquainted. A rare occasion to meet the producers personally, and listen as they share their thoughts, stories and emotions, all whilst tasting their wine. It is also possible to purchase wine during the event in order to continue the experience at home.
The association VinNatur, born in 2006, brings together winemakers who have the communal objective of sharing the techniques and experiences in the field to produce wine according to natural methods, both in the vineyards and in the wine cellar, and to spread the culture of their terroir. The event, designed to help bring these objectives to the grand public, also permits the VinNatur association to grow and carry out its work all through the year.
“After the loss of Villa Favorita, closed for renovation work, we had to look quickly for a new space which could host us,” says Daniele Piccinin, Vice-President of VinNatur. “We wanted to stay in the area, because it’s our base and the association was started here, but we also needed to find a place which was big enough to fit all our members. We chose a place which is easily accessible by car and with ample parking for visitors, which also makes all our logistics easier. We are certain that it is the people who make our events special and therefore we’re sure that this year will also be another unforgettable edition.”
The image of this year’s edition was designed by Giulia Perin, of Cassola (VI) and is the winner of the “Immagina il tuo VinNatur Tasting 2019” competition, set out by VinNatur in collaboration with Illustratore Italiano, on the theme of natural wines and a reasoned and respectful form of viticulture. It was chosen from 80 illustrations and represents, according to the artist, “the time taken to be together, both the relationship between a farmer and his grapes but also between the people who share the pleasure of a good glass of wine when time stands still.”

Opening Hours: from 10am to 6pm
Location: Margraf Show-Room, Via Torre di Confine, Gambellara (VI) at 1,3 km from the Montebello Vicentino motorway exit (A4 Milano-Venezia).
Blessed with a huge parking space and easily to get to by car. There will also be a free shuttle bus to and from the Montebello Vicentino train station for every arrival and departure of the trains from 09.45 in the morning.
Entrance: € 25 per day as a contribution to the association (available only at the entrance to the event) including the event catalogue and a glass for tasting.
Under 18s do not pay and cannot take part in the tastings.
Dogs: small-sized dogs are accepted
